This award-winning architecture and landscape concept for a restaurant development was created by RVI as a submission to a tender by the Ministry of Tourism of Oman. With massive, illuminated, gold-tinted windows and white stone archways, the design is cutting-edge and contemporary, but still keeps intact the authenticity of Omani heritage. As visitors enter, fire features emanate from both sides of the space, a water feature lies in the center of the entryway, and the ambiance creates a sense of excitement. In the end, RVI’s design won an award for the project developer for design application. The colour palette focuses on light colors, echoing the country’s vast mountains and desert. Each element has a purpose and is a reflection of the Sultanate of Oman’s nature, history, culture, and influences on modern architecture.
